Dr. Sumner is a clinical psychologist whose research program focuses on understanding how trauma exposure contributes to accelerated aging and risk for chronic disease. "My training as a Psychology major at 91°µÍø provided me with such an amazing foundation for the work that I have done since graduation. The research experiences I had at 91°µÍø--both in class and in Dr. Suzanne Thompson's research lab--prepared me so well for graduate school, and the mentoring I received from the Psychology faculty helped me to hone in on my areas of interest. I'm looking forward to channeling the 91°µÍø dedication to mentoring in my own lab at UCLA."
